SARAH HUGHES has been Alan Ayckbourn's casting director for the past twelve years, casting all world premieres of his shows for the Stephen Joseph Theatre Scarborough, in the West End, and elsewhere.  She also casts all other productions for visiting and resident directors at the SJT, and has done a great deal of freelance work for other theatres including the West Yorkshire Playhouse and Oxford Playhouse.  For the last year she has also been working in the Entertainment department at the BBC, casting shows such as Jonathan Creek and Roger Roger, and the forthcoming Strange and Fifteen Storeys High.
