Masterclass

Join multi-award winning stage and costume designer, Anna Fleischle, for a design Masterclass. This session will explore the way a designer thinks themselves into a piece and how their thoughts and ideas influence a production, a performance and an audience. Anna will discuss her innovative work in West End and touring productions for theatre, opera and dance, including Everyone’s Talking About Jamie (UK Tour), Home, I’m Darling (National Theatre / Theatre Clwyd / Duke of York Theatre), Hangmen (West End/Broadway), Death of a Salesman (West End/Broadway) and A German Life (Bridge Theatre), as well as recent production Punch (Nottingham Playhouse), and will talk through the thought process that led to some of her recent and past designs.

At the end of the session there will be some time for a Q&A with Anna.

AFTERCLASS: There will be an Afterclass taking place immediately after this Masterclass, for a chance to connect and meet your community over a drink in the Stalls Bar.

Biography

Anna Fleischle is an Olivier award–winning and Tony-nominated production set and costume designer.
