Getting Closer is a poetic new play about the beginning, the end, myths, mistakes, and living under the spectre of the climate crisis.

Trigger/content warnings: This play portrays climate anxiety in various forms. It contains strong references to violence, death, and pregnancy/childbirth.

Script Sessions give playwrights the opportunity to meet with other young creatives and receive feedback on their scripts.

These very relaxed and informal sessions give playwrights valuable early feedback, while young actors get to practice their table reading skills, directors can share their vision for the piece and designers create quick response sketches. It’s a great chance to network with other creatives, and give feedback on new work.
