Join Hammed Animashaun for this Masterclass on the set of Matilda!
In this 90-minute session, Hammed will invite selected Masterclass members on stage to work on a monologue of their choice, sharing tools for getting the most out of auditions and preparing text. He will also share ideas on how to get your personal projects off the ground. Last, but not least, we will leave plenty of time for a Q&A so you can ask your burning questions.
Applications to work on stage are now closed, but there will be lots to learn from watching Hammed in action and during the Q&A.
Biography
Hammed Animashaun’s theatre credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bridge), Barber Shop Chronicles, Master Harold…and the Boys, Amadeus, The Three Penny Opera (National), The Producers (Royal Exchange, Manchester).
Film includes: The Loneliest Boy in the World (Future Artists Entertainment), The Festival (Film 4/Fudge Park).
Television includes: Black Ops (BBC), Wheel of Time (Amazon/Sony), Pls Like (BBC), Flowers (Channel 4).
Hammed won the WhatsOnStage Best Supporting Actor in a Play award and the Critics’ Circle Trewin Award for Best Shakespearean Performance for A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Hammed is a BBC Studios Creator in Residence, where he is developing original TV content.
