Stage Craft: Narrative, Exposition, Subtext, Dialogue… In addition to his directing credits, Park Theatre Artistic Director Jez Bond has co-written three plays, been dramaturge on over a hundred and developed work with actors including Ian McKellen, Miriam Margolyes and Juliet Stevenson. His two hour workshop, aimed at actors, writers and directors, aimed to unlock some of the key components of drama: from narrative structure to exposition to creating (and speaking) dialogue that rings true, to discerning the power of the subtext. This was a practical session where everyone had an opportunity to participate at various points throughout.
