St. Helen's Catholic Boarding School for Girls has been educating girls for over a century, instilling in them the qualities and skills needed for them to flourish and become exceptional young women. The young women who attend may disagree. Following two generations of St. Helen's girls, 'Our Mother, Who Art in Heaven' explores the trials and tribulations of being a teenage girl in any decade. In 2003, Brooke faces the loss of her mother and her changing relationship with her best friend Jessica after some time away. In 1987, Jo contemplates what she wants to do with her life after school ends and if she'll meet her parents' expectations whilst balancing her friendships with rebellious Theresa and devout Pippa. As the girls consider their places in the world what becomes clear is that three things are inevitable: Boys, Blood and Blasphemy.

Script Sessions allow playwrights to meet with other young creatives and receive feedback on their scripts.
These very relaxed and informal sessions give playwrights valuable early feedback, while young actors get to practice their table reading skills, directors can share their vision for the piece and designers create quick response sketches. It’s a great chance to network with other creatives and give feedback on new work. Find out more, and apply to take part, here.
