A practical workshop on the fundamentals of puppetry, led by Paper Puppets

This session will start with puppetry-specific exercises and games. You will then create your own simple puppet and collaboratively devise a short performance to present back to the group at the end of the session.

This session will be run by Stephen Love, Daisy Porter and Lucas Button from Paper Puppets.

Biography

Stephen Love

Stephen is an actor-puppeteer and founder of Paper Puppets. His credits include; Warhorse (The National Theatre), Doctor Who (BBC), The Crown & Behind Her Eyes (Netflix), The Peripheral (Amazon), and Gnomus (Puppets with Guts).

Daisy Porter

Daisy is an actor, screenwriter, and puppeteer. Puppetry credits include Alice in Wonderland (Theatre Royal Nottingham, Buxton Opera House, Swansea Grand), Albert’s Wondrous Voyage (Royal Albert Hall), and Out of This World (Little Angel Theatre).

Lucas Button

Lucas is an actor, puppeteer and musician who has worked across theatre and television. His credits include; Warhorse (National Theatre), The Butterfly Lion (Chichester Festival Theatre), Masters of the Air (Apple TV), and The Witcher: Blood Origin (Netflix).
