Actor Rachael Stirling will work with Masterclass members on two scenes from plays she has starred in, the first from George Farquhar’s restoration comedy The Recruiting Officer and the second from Mike Bartlett’s An Intervention.

Biography

Rachael Stirling’s prolific career encompasses extensive theatre, film & television credits.

Her theatre work includes Scandaltown and Love, Love, Love (Lyric Theatre Hammersmith), Plenty (Chichester Festival Theatre), Labour of Love (Noel Coward Theatre), The Winter’s Tale (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse), An Intervention (for Paines Plough), Medea (for Headlong), An Ideal Husband (Vaudeville Theatre), Theatre of Blood (National Theatre) and The Priory (Royal Court).

Television credits include Hollington Drive (ITV), Life (BBC), Wild BillThe Bletchley Circle (ITV), Detectorists (Channel X North), Churchill’s Secret (ITV), Capital (Kudos), The Game (BBC), Dr Who (BBC), Tipping the Velvet (BBC), Othello (ITV) and Bait (ITV).

Her films include Their Finest (BBC), Sixteen (Seize Films), Snow White and the Huntsman (Universal Pictures), The Young Victoria (Momentum Pictures), Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (BBC) and Still Crazy (Universal Pictures).
