Ex-Masterclass member, Russell Lucas, comes from a working-class background and has forged a long career in the arts without funding, an agent, or a degree. In this 90-minute session, he will provide a practical toolkit to getting theatre projects off the ground. With top tips taken from his new book, 300 Thoughts for Theatremakers, he will teach you how to interrogate your ideas, find a path towards making it happen, and plan a production model and budget that works for you.

Biography
Russell is an independent theatre maker based in London.
His recent show ‘An Evening Without Kate Bush’ has taken the UK by storm (The Times ★★★★) and his new one-man show, ‘The Bobby Kennedy Experience’, is now travelling around the country on a studio tour. His work has also been seen in the West End, Edinburgh, and Off-Broadway.
His book 300 Thoughts for Theatremakers, published by Nick Hern Books, is a practical, grassroots, self-empowerment book for anybody who wants to make live theatre.
