the women who cried for a year (and counting) is all about what it means to grow into your twenties and how to cope without your mammy. Set in Cork City, three university students are stuck when a relationship breaks down between mother and daughter and somehow it affects everyone. Featuring myth, witchcraft and mindfulness this play features the power of female bonds and inner resilience.

Script Sessions give playwrights the opportunity to meet with other young creatives and receive feedback on their scripts.

These very relaxed and informal sessions give playwrights valuable early feedback, while young actors get to practice their table reading skills, directors can share their vision for the piece and designers create quick response sketches. It’s a great chance to network with other creatives, and give feedback on new work.
