Masterclass (part of the Get Into Theatre family) is seeking applications for a Wardrobe & WHAM Intern. This is an exciting development opportunity for someone with early-career experience in garment making and maintenance, and / or with experience of wigs, styling and barbering, who wishes to develop their skills and build a career in theatre Wardrobe and / or WHAM.

Key Information:  

📅 Internship: 16 November 2026 – 17 January 2027. Please Note: All applicants must be able to commit to the full contract.

🚀 Apply by: 9am, Monday 5 October 

🎤 Interviews: Late October  

💰 Salary: Paid at London Living Wage

📍Based: London

✍️ Contract Type: Fixed term  

💼 Working pattern: 6 days a week, including weekends. Average 40 hours per week.  

Who Should Apply:   

We're looking for candidates who: 

✔ Have some sewing and costume maintenance skills, and / or experience with styling and dressing wigs, styling hair and barbering

✔ Have a keen interest in theatre and a desire to learn on the job 

✔ Are flexible and have the ability to work well as part of a team 

✔ Have excellent communication and organisational skills 

✔ Have an ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems if they arise 

✔ Are aged 18+ 

✔ Are Masterclass Members* (click here for more info & to join for free) 

 ✔ Have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the placement 

We particularly welcome and encourage candidates from backgrounds which are currently underrepresented in the offstage workforce, although we regret that due to the nature of the venue there is no step-free access.  

Due to funding, preference will be given to candidates under 25 and residing in select London boroughs (Barnet, Brent, Camden, City of London, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster).
